Hi, I am Dr. Pooja Shah, a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of ADHD, Autism, anxiety, and depression.

In my practice, we will start with an initial 90-minute appointment where we have an in-depth discussion of your symptoms and work together to formulate an evidence-based treatment plan including talk therapy and if appropriate, use of medications where indicated. We can also discuss non-medication alternatives if you prefer a holistic approach.
You will have direct access to me at each point of care.
It can be a challenge to seek help for your mental health and find a psychiatrist who can understand your needs and your child’s needs.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services
Dr. Shah strives to tailor a personalized, evidence-based approach with an integration of psychotherapy and judicious use of medications to alleviate symptoms of pediatric depression, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, phobias, panic disorders, ADHD, and Autism spectrum disorder, among others. She emphasizes the use of psychotherapy, lifestyle modification, nutrition, sleep hygiene, evidence-based medication management, and various psychotherapeutic modalities. Her goal is to educate patients and families about the wide array of treatment options and provide holistic patient care. She also provides school consultation services and second opinions for patients who may be under the care of other psychiatrists. She collaborates with pediatricians and psychotherapists to provide the highest quality of patient care.
Adult Psychiatric Services
Dr. Shah provides a range of clinical and consultation services. She performs thorough diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning for adults with a range of psychiatric diagnoses including depression, anxiety, OCD, phobias, and panic disorders, with an emphasis on psychotherapy, mindfulness, nutrition, and evidence-based medication management, with a comprehensive discussion of symptoms and goals. She also provides second opinions for psychiatric diagnoses.
Forensic Psychiatric Services
Dr. Shah provides a range of forensic services as a consultant to judges and attorneys. Services include psychiatric consultation, record review, and expert testimony, among others.
