Billing and Fees

Dr. Shah’s private practice does not accept any insurance plan payments; visit fees are out-of-pocket only.

She can provide a superbill/invoice/receipt that you can submit to your health insurance carrier if you have out-of-network coverage or reimbursement.

Please call your insurance plan to find out if you have out-of-network coverage or reimbursement.

You may use your HSA and FSA card for payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please give 48 business hours advance notice.

In the event, you do not provide 48 business hours advance notice, you will be charged 100% of the session fee that was reserved for you.

You may cancel your appointment by calling and leaving a message or via email at drshah@poojashahmdpsychiatry.com.

If you are late for an appointment, you will be seen for the remainder of the time reserved for you. You will be responsible for the full session fee.

We are happy to accommodate your schedule with advance notice.
