Dr. Shah is a triple board-certified psychiatrist with specialization in child and adolescent psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and adult psychiatry.

She received her medical degree from S.S.R. Medical College and Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College, India, where she graduated with High Honors.

She completed her general psychiatry residency training through the State of Delaware Residency Program.

Following her training in General Psychiatry, Dr. Shah completed her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) where she served as a chief fellow of research and didactic curriculum.

After the completion of her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship, Dr. Shah completed her Forensic Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine.

Subsequently, she received certification training in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) at the Medical University of South Carolina.

She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law.

Dr. Shah has published numerous journal articles and poster presentations on topics in general psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry, and aspires to pursue clinical, research, and forensic interests in the same.
